Great patio and cozy neighborhood place... consistently good Italian comfort food and the staff is very personable. The lamb shanks and pumpkin ravioli, total yum:)

Located in the Peachtree Battle shopping center, Pasta Vino is a somewhat hidden but I'm okay with that. The first time I went there we sat in the dining room, which is fairly small, but the ambiance made us feel like we were in some quaint neighborhood restaurant in Little Italy or something. The service was really attentive and friendly and I always appreciate that.

The food...oh, the food. First of all, portion sizes are pretty large, which is to be expected, so come ready to eat. I had the chicken parmesan since it was listed as a signature dish and I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of chicken parm (not really) and I was not disappointed. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the chicken was seasoned just right. The sauce was lovely and all was right in the world. My friends both had the Liguini ai Frutti di Mare and both thought they had died and gone to Italy. By their impressions, I'm guessing that was a good thing. The wine list was pretty decent and while the prices were a tad on the high side, it was definitely worth it.

We discovered Pasta Vino via a Groupon, and we've been going back to this small gem ever since. Lunch (M-F only) is an incredible bargain--and don't forget to ask for the free "garlic knots" (piping hot bread knots, fragrant with garlic). Their dishes are beautifully prepared, fresh and totally satisfying. We love the baked ziti and the gnocchi. Service is attentive and understated. This is a cozy, wonderful find!

My family has been going to Pasta Vino since I was a little girl and one day, I plan on bringing my future family there as well. The environment is so inviting and the every item on the menu is melt in your mouth, to die for -- especially the trendy specials! Pasta Vino truly is one of those hidden, hole in the wall gems that never fails to deliver. It's the perfect place for a romantic date or a fun outing with the whole family!

I had the lasagna al forno, which was wonderful. The restaurant seemed to work well the many families that were there. Since they have pizza, pasta, and more, it works for kids, old and young. The service was good and the staff was friendly.

I celebrated my graduation party here. I was impressed with the service and the quality of food for the price is great!!! A definite good spot, easy to find and great food.

My family and I have been going to Pasta Vino longer than I can remember. When ownership changed a while back I was worried. But current owners continue the fantastic food here. Garlic knots are great. Good salads. Great pasta with the best red sauce I've ever tasted. Chicken Francese is the best! Good red wine by the glass. Great servers. Outside on the patio is great in the Spring/Summer/Fall. It's the best Jerry, the best!

I have been coming to Pasta Vino for a while and have always enjoyed their food. It's tucked away in a quaint section of the Peachtree Battle shopping center next to the Cheyenne Grille and it's been in business since 1989. It's a good "1st date" spot and it won't necessarily break your bank.

I usually order the house salad which includes mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, roasted red peppers, olives, parmesan and sun dried tomatoes. The lettuce actually tastes as though it's off the head and cut fresh. The dressing is a "homemade" variety and is light in flavor and it's usually one of my favorites. Another one of my favorites is the Chicken Parmesan. I love how they actually pound the chicken breast and it's lightly breaded with mozzarella cheese on top. The marinara sauce is fresh and made on the spot. I have become a bit tired of all the canned crap a lot of places serve. It also comes with a side of pasta for the carb fix. I recommend this place and it's always been consistent on quality. It's a nice departure from more of the flashy Italian joints in town.

Italian Dinner Evening

My first great meal here since moving to Atlanta. My husband and I went at 6:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed (it's tiny). More young kids than I would have liked, but the food was so good I got past it. We started with delicious garlic rolls (great consistency, nice and soft) and wine. I had the gnocchi which was hands down the best gnocchi I have ever had. Light and fluffy with a perfect creamy tomato cheese sauce. I also got a side of veggies to break up the monotony of the dish. It was a mix of sauteed broccoli and zucchini with sliced garlic. Amazingly delicious. My husband liked his veal parm... he said it was very good. I can't wait to go back and try other pasta dishes.

Pasta Vino successfully upgraded their menu and decor to an above-the-average neighborhood Italian experience. Don't miss Jay's cheesecakes.
