Someone's Italian grandmother's recipe! Not sure about this but it is a heavenly light cake that is iced with mascarpone cream frosting and guaranteed to melt in your mouth!

The classic Italian "pick me up," said to have originated to fortify Venetian Courtesans between amorous encounters… Ours is a light mocha & rum flavored whipped mascarpone & cream pudding, floating on espresso-dipped ladyfingers.
